CancerCompass message board discussion started by Mrs. c on 2/16/2007 http://www.cancercompass.com/message-board/message/all,9675,0.htm Sun, 07 Sep 2008 00:00:00 GMT Sun, 07 Sep 2008 00:00:00 GMT http://backend.userland.com/rss RSS.NET: http://www.rssdotnet.com/ Has anyone heard of the MSLT II Study for LND surgery?  My son has proven eligible for this study that is in phase III.  It is to study the benefits vs. the risks/complications of LND - quality of life, intervals of NED and overall survival outcome.  One group gets the surgery, another does not and is monitered with ultrasound for mel cells.  I have never heard ultrasound even mentioned as a tool for dx. or monitering.  Just wondering  if anyone has any knowledge as we make this decision.Darlene Mrs. c Fri, 16 Feb 2007 00:00:00 GMT
