I just wanted you to know that you have been in my thoughts and I have been praying for you and your husband. Please let me know how you are when you have a chance. I hope things are better than they were when you posted last. Pat

Hi Pat, Kevin is doing allright. He still has a nasty cough with all that phleym. He is suppose to still be on anti-biotics, which I don't know why he is not. Hopsice was suppose to have them for him. It's been a long couple of days. WAY too many visitors. His Mom, bless her heart, has all these people coming over that Kevin has not seen for years. All day long.... I put a stop to it today so we both could catch our breath. His spirits are still very good. He is determined!! Other than the cough, he is still bleeding from the tumor and that won't stop unless he is well enough for the procedure, until then, he will continue to bleed. It makes me ill thinking that he laying there bleeding to death. I am getting on the phone to hopsice tomorrow and tell them we don't want the same nurse. We need someone on Kevins side. Someone who will be a little more pro-active in making his mind and body comfortable. How is Mom doing? Are the treatments doing anything? Is she still getting treatments? So, so wonderful to hear from you, really. :-) How are YOU doing? Love and Hugs - Sonda (Lou)

Hi Sonda, Thank you for filling me in. I was worried about you. I know you are taking care of Kevin. I hope the Dr. can do something to help stop the bleeding. I am glad you are getting a new nurse. You really need someone that is supportive of your and Kevin's wishes. It sounded like the other one added to your stress and that is the last thing you need! I know your visitor's mean well but you did the right thing stopping it so both of you can rest. It can be exhausting having to feel like you are having to entertain people while going through this nightmare I know everyone will understand Kevin, and you need all your energy to just get through the day. Mom is doing well, she felt bad over the weekend but she is better now. I am doing better since we got started with her treatments. I was really scared and dreading it starting. It helps since she is doing so well. Now we just need to get it over with. Thanks for thinking of us.I hope you are getting some support. You need it as much as Kevin. I am praying as hard as I can for both of you. Please take care of yourself!! Pat
