    Look at Herman Cain. A Stage 4 survivor. Running for President and doing very well. This is not a political ad, this is a survivor ad. This man is doing one of the most physically demanding activites I have heard of after beating a Stage 4 colon cancer. He is an inspiration to me. I am a 2 years past a stage 3. Every time I want to whine, I look to Herman.

      I had a Stage 3 removed in Nov. 09. Ileostomy reversed in Sept 10. I am 60 now. I just got home from work. I work afternoon shift by choice. I went through pre surgery radiation and chemo. and post surgery chemo. I have maxed out the radiation for my life time. Do what your surgeon recommends. If you have questions get a second opinion.         I had initial surgery in late 2009 and reversal in Sept. 2010. Except for a little set back with C-Diff right after surgery all went very well. I read all kinds of scare stories, but I listened to the professionals and did as they advised. I had very little trouble getting my plumbing back in working order. I really believe attitude is alot of the battle. I had an unrelated cancer removed in 1986, thus the 2timeloser...
