Ref Lichen planus aromatheray cream. I am happy to report that I can find no trace of rashes on my legs now from the Lichen planus I had for months - which is sometimes noted in myelofibrosis. I have been using the cream given my by my aromatherapist and taking liposomal vitamin C which, by the way I realised in December (only when I stopped taking it for a week) gets rid of the itching I originally felt! This wa...

Thanks for the response. What you say has spurred me on to check all this out. The paper you quoted was, I believe dated 2000. A lot of progress has been made since. There also appear to be differing views on this. I have the impression that there is not enough certainty to claim that liposomal is as good as IV. But even a vitamin C expert bases his judgement about IV being 'first call' on the basis of the true effec...

My Aunt had an operation for severe ulcers on her legs. After this she would not eat. Having read in Leslie Kenton's book 'Raw Energy' that an ancient and excellent way to get the appetitie going was to give mashed banana, goat's milk and a little honey. I showed the book to the Sister in charge. She agreed. My aunt took the meal and regained her appetite. You know that it is possible you husband is actually wantin...

Becca do you think you might have made connections here that previously have not been made? I ask because, whilst I was just feeling pretty smug having completed the Times Difficult Soduko, I realise that my weekend will be pretty full attempting to translate, or understand the significance, or work out what to do reference this apparently complex set of connected material! Could you put in really simple language f...

Hi John, Haven't spoken for a time. Thanks for the Patient Treatment Outcomes Link. I have just subscribed and will take a look - being an avid non-chemical advocate! Curiously on Monday, before I was due to see my Consultant - who gave me the good news that all the figures were only just OTT and had actually improved (with no medical intervention - only Liposomal Vitamin C etc.) and then the bad news that this was...

Hi to all involved in the search for solutions, and especially to Becca. I did want to log into previous information/chats about this but cannot find my way around the site sufficiently. Vitamin C comes up with a"We are sorry! Your search results did not match any documents" I do find this strange. Vitamin C is, after all absolutely fundamental to health! Oh well here goes again: I have bought an Ultrasonic Clean...

I always feel odd calling someone by their username. Mine is really unwieldy. I was diagnosed this year with myelofibrosis. The first thing is of course that not all conditions, even with the same name react exactly the same. I argued with my consultant about using the chemo tablet Hydrea. She sacked me! However, my G.P. who is a bachelor of chemistry said, never mind we'll ask another consultant. He said my counts ...

I am answering my own contributiion here. The cream I mentioned regarding Lichen planus, though passed over by my consultant with the words "If it works..." was rejected by my Aromatherapist as some of the base ingredients she told me were actually 'harmful'. My sincere apologies for mentioning the creme. It did appear at first to be having a calming effect. It is the build up of these ingredients which could b...

Hi Oldmike1, I hope you don't mind but I have copied your message to add to my others so I can show them to my Consultant. Being of the opinion that building health and strength is at least as important as zapping things, I also take B vit complex, Dr Mercola's Krill omega 3, Vit D, Selenium and magnesium supplements. I have to admit that my dosage and regularity in taking these is in no way scientific. In fact I...

Hi, I was diagnised with Lichen planus (red oatches on my legs) a short time before I was diagnosed with myelofibrosis. I am supposing there is a link. I did not take the medicine as I am reluctant to stress my immune system further. However, a little while back I bought Creme Eglisante for my partner. This is a face cream with natural ingredients, including Acacia collagen. I guessed it might help, containing as i...
