Hi my mom was just diagnose with breast cancer and she has no medical insurance. This is very scary, we need to know she will be treated, and that she is not going to lose her home, or go bankrupt. Can anyone PLEASE give us some insight on what to do. She is willing to pay whatever she can to get the surgery and treatment, but she really cant afford much. She currently is already living pay check to pay check. We need help, I have researched and had no luck. I don’t even know where to start to be honest. But I have called several places, and no results. It's getting close, she just had her MRI done, and we are waiting to see if the cancer is in the limp nods and if it has spread or not. Anyway, can anyone please help?
She lives in San Diego county, and goes to a Sharp Hospital affiliated Doctor. If that helps. We have contacted the hospital and are waiting to see if they have any payment plans.
