  My father is on Votrient. He had pain on his feet (no other side effect) and his doctor ask him to stop Votrient for a week. Is that normal? Do you know anyone stop Vortrient for a week and then back to it later? Thanks a lot!

  My father had RCC in 1998 and he had a kidney removed. He was totally well until this year. We just found that his cancer has spreaded to lung. His doctor suggests him to take Sutent.  I heard before target therapy, usually doctors will perform some genetic/DNA tests to identify the best drugs for patients. But my father's doctor did not perform any test but suggest Sutent. I am wondering if this is a...
