      Hello everyone, I've sent several of you a private message, I hope you don't mind. Finding people who can tell you more about ampullary cancer is like finding a needle in a hay stack! My dad (65) was diagnosed just a month ago. He had a classic Whipple procedure, 3 out of 27 lymph nodes tested positive.         Oh and one more thing I forgot, we'll have a meeting with his surgeons in a few days. What are the questions we need to ask? I want to know if bloodvessels were involved and how many lymph nodes were taken and how they tested. Any tips on what to ask is appreciated.

          My dad was diagnosed just 3 weeks ago with stage I ampullary cancer, he had the Whipple procedure last Thursday so within 15 days of diagnosis. I think he's recovering very well. He's started to eat small amounts of soft solids, is going to the bathroom and passing gas. He did have a problem with his catheter today, it kept creating a vacuum and blocking up, flowing over etc. So this morning he was moved to a differe...
