My sister, my best friend died 11/4/2010 from lung cancer with mets to the brain. She was diagnosed September 07. She had a tumor removed from her brain, whole head radiation, chemo, focused radiation again to 2 tumors that were regrowing in her brain and then a stroke. At that point there was nothing more that could be done and she was placed with hospice. 5 months in a nursing home until I could bring her home. She passed 2 weeks later.
