I am seeing a therapist . 2nd appt. is this afternoon. She knows the brain tumor center personnel and is very knowledgable with cancer patients. I think the sessions will be helpful to me. maybe helpful for your mom? don't forget yourself as caregiver as well

I'm experiencing nausea on my maint. rounds of temodar(400mg)I take an 8mg. zofran 1 hour b/f the temodar. Wake up 7 hours later with the "urge to purge" Take a dissolving zofran but its too late by then. Also fatigue. i need to find some more weed. works great. If these are the extent of my symptoms and the treatment is working, I'm more than willing to continue ad infinitum.

mumplus, re:PSK, I was told by an alernative phamacist that mushrooms in gerneral are very good, but the asian one(can't remember name) is best. maybe bigsky can chime in w/ name. Anyway PSK is the active ingredient i think, so if you take that you don't have to take other mushroom supplements., per this pharmacist. I still try to eat fresh shrooms every day though.

Consider a supplement regimine , ala Ben Williams. Also, google search "supplements for gbm'. about 1/2 way down the results ,is a link to another forum post with much detail and links. Also, consider a 'calorically restricted diet' and possibly a ketogenic diet. google 'Thomas Seyfried' and his research plus philosophy of brain tumors.
