  Hi sorry to but in but do you have any idea how your Dr changed the ins mind. Our Ins (blue shield) also denied abrazane and our Dr even had a DR to DR and it still didn't work.   Maggie never feel guilty, my husband Rick, is 6 yrs 8 mths with stage 4, now he has mets to the lungs after its been to his liver twice. He just started taxatere on wed, his Dr wanted him to do abraxiane but our wonderful ins co wouldn't ok it said it was expermintal, I would think that with you guys that have lasted so long they would want to do everything they could to study you in that hopes someday they would fin...

  Three years ago Rick had two spots on his liver and he had a liver ablation, but when they went in there were three then last June it came back again and he had 20% of the liver resected, he has been on chem 5 out of the 6 years, had 6 weeks of radiation 6 years ago right after his whipple, now he is set up in may to remove spots on lungs and ablate the ones he can't get to then he will have to go back on c...

  Rather sad today Rick had another pet/scan and we found out his PC has gone to his lungs guess it wasn't happy being in his liver twice. In fact they said the 20% of the liver that they cut away last June has grown back and he has a normal shape liver with no cancer in it.  We are going on 6yrs 4 months with stage 4 he's my miricle man, I feel bad though because he now has a hernia from building me this beautifu...
