    Hello. My partner (43) has metastasies to his groin and pelvis in 2010. Then in Dec 2011 they found a 2.3cm tumour in his brain (left occipital lobe). This was excised then a 2nd one appeared in the same place in March 2012. He recovered well from both ops. In April he finished 3 weeks of whole brain radiation (very hard!) and is still experiencing fatigue and some nausea even now. (Not sure we'd do it again...) BUT ...

      I understand how you feel. My partner has his primary melanoma removed in Feb 2010 and was told there was a 2% chance of it returning. Within 3 months it had spread to his groin and within 8 months to the other groin and his pelvis. Last November they found a 2.3cm brain tumor. There is so much complacency even amongst doctors (who should know better) towards melanoma. Even after his first brain op his oncologist did...

        Hello, you sound like you're in a very similar situation to me. My partner was diagnosed with his first brain tumour in November 2011. His primary melanoma was on his stomach (Dx February 2010) and this metastasised to both groins and his pelvis by the end of that year. Then nothing for a year.           My partner recently had 2 secondary brain tumors removed followed by a course of whole brain radiation. While he bounced back from the ops (young fit and healthy:), the radiation has been tough. Even 3 months down the track he is experiencing extreme fatigue, some nausea and other cognitive disturbances.
