Survivor Esophageal Cancer After Treatment, Lifestyle

I am Steve Kottmyer. I was born in Kentucky in 1951 and now live in New Carlisle, Ohio. I have a wife, 3 kids, and 5 grandkids. I was diagnosed with esophageal cancer in June 2005. I had an Ivor-Lewis esophagogastrectomy in July 2005 - no chemo or radiation. I am now doing relatvely well. To a large part I credit cycling with my recovery and continued well-being. I cycle around 4000 miles per year.
