  I have my 3 -year check up following a radical nephrectomy of my left kidney and lymph nodes for stage 3 RCC in 2009.  I am nervous as hell about the two spots on my left lung that were found during my last CT, but had not grown.  Asking for prayers for another year clear.  Thanks.

  One of the biggest things to a cancer patient/survivor is their support system.  It seems that you are the base of that system at this time.  Sit down with your brother and give him the information you have discovered and let him weigh it out.  As PopPop said, the final decision on any treatment is sloely up to your brother.  The best thing for you to do is be there for HIM.  Hopefully the re...

  Morgan, Take a look under the topic of liver cancer on the left side of the message boards.  There are alot of people on there in the same situation as your mom and may have the information you are looking for.  Good luck, God bless, and I will pray for your mom and you.

  Thanks kmooshian.  I've tried to push the thoughts somewhere else.  My wife and I just went on an anniversary trip and had a great time, but in between doing things, the thoughts would come slipping in.  The odd thing is I have never been scared of dying, its the fear of how those close to me will take it.  My son cries when I leave to go to the store...I can't imagine what it will do to him ...

  I had a radical nephrectomy of my left kidney for stage 3 RCC in April 2009.  After my third follow up CT scan they told me they were watching two nodes spot in my left lung.  The oncologist called them granulomas and they have not grown over 2cm in the past 3 years.  They will probbaly just keep an eye on them during your visits for any drastic growth.  Hang tough and God bless.
