  Thank you for the recommendation. My Dad died 2 months ago at age 69 from adenocarcinoma in his left lung. Leaving my Mom, at age 65, to forge on and she's struggling with a life without him.   I read your profile. That's awesome that you are doing so well! My Dad was tested for all the same things. He spent 7 days in Johns Hopkins until they figured it out. It's evidently not typically seen as a cancer, but rather presents like many other things. Sorry you lost your Dad so young . My Dad was 69. Too young and he was so active and in love with life.   Hi. My Dad was diagnosed with stage IV adenocarcinoma with BAC features but not before two months of doctors and hospitals thought he had pneumonia. He lived 77 days after they diagnosed him, but lost the battle on August 25th. I miss him so much it hurts my heart.... I really hope you beat this.   My recent experience with hospice was a learning experience. My father had lung cancer, and was too weak for chemo, so his Oncologist suggested Hospice. We did not know they offer "comfort care" only. Meaning, they did not extend any type of treatment for any thing. My Dad got pneumonia and they left it untreated. Meanwhile, we thought it was a cough due to the cancer. It got severe in 2 weeks and he ended up in ICU....
