Hello, My Dad has just finished his 2nd month of chemo maintenance on Temador. He has been breathless for a while but put that down to weight gain and side affects of drugs. Had a bad day yesterday so took him to hospital and found out he has massive blood clot on lungs! This was devastating news as to cure this we run a high risk of a bleed in his brain or somewhere else! He has been given heparin I think as loo...

Hi, my Dad has GMB and just finished radiotherapy and Temador. He has not suffered any side affects except tiredness in the last few weeks. Although does have a chesty cough on and off! Just wondered what to expect on the next round 5/23 cycle. When do most people feel at their worst? Whilst taking it or after? Thanks. Gemma x

Hi Carla, Sorry to hear. i am also in the UK and my Dad was diagnosed with Glioblastoma IV in December. Ravi- I looked at this trial, I can't see that it is available for UK patients? I would be keen to get my Dad on a phase 3 trial in the UK. He starts radiotherapy and chemo in 2 weeks. Good luck Gemma

Hi John, Thanks looks like a good and promising drug. Looking for how to get into trial? Any ideas? My Dad has had surgery already so is it too late as they would need sample of his cells? Gemma

Thanks for the info. Sorry a few more questions - what is Celebrex and the other things he added? Accutane? - what does adjuvant mean? At what point did you add the IMA950 vaccine? Sorry for all the questions Thanks Gemma

No we need a blood test to check that otherwise he meets the criteria. I read 50% of population have it in there blood so fingers crossed. So what treatment have you had? My dad had a brain haemorrhage too which we then discovered was the tumour. Gemma

Thanks for getting back to me. How long along since your diagnosis?? Am I right in thinking the drug boosts your immune system to right the cancerous cells? We are due to start treatment in 3 weeks so need to make a decision this weekend. But same feeling as you, nothing to lose. Is yours a recurring tumour? Gemma

Hi, Thanks for your message. I don't know anything about it so trying to get info to see if my dad should join the trial. What do you think? I looked at the results so far and they seem positive. Are you in the US trial? I guess questions are Side affects? Is it working? Anything you know that may be relevant to make our decision?! Thanks Gemma
