I heard of disappearing primaries, although not common, one is when cancer metastised, and goes to the lymph nodes, the primary cancer cancer dies. . That's common to remove the tonsils, during a largnoscopy, for an unknown primary when the cervical,nodes are involved, and probably looking at the oropharynx, being level II ...

                Were the nodes tested for HPV? This has prognostic factor with better outcome to treatment being HPV positive, overall survival. Hpv is usuallynfrom the orophsrynx, specifically the tonsils, and base of tongue. A direct biops still can miss if sample is not taken whete the cancer, and BOT cab be derp, not superficial.                       I heard of it, and It's from too much bacteria, infection in the mouth or candisis. It can be caused from antibiotics, dry mouth, coffee, etc. good oral care is important, and dr. may prescribe antibiotics or antifungal, and can be lasered off. Some people that have flaps from the body, that ate put in the mouth, sometimes have hair growth sometimes, but that's something different.
