At the age of 42, I was diagnosed with GCT in October 2012 after complaining of abdominal pain for about two weeks. An ultrasound located a 6 cm tumor on my left ovary that was removed, along with my fallopian tube, in December 2012. Since that date, my OB/GYN/Oncologist seems pretty apathetic about the ordeal, however I am still anxious and worried. I'm looking for others with knowledge and experiences similar to mine for support and guidance. The advise I was given was to watch for symptoms... but honestly, I'm a control freak, and that method just doesn't work for me. Thanks!
