I have been on avastin since December, 2012. I am having surgery in 4 weeks, so this weekend is my last dose until 4 weeks after surgery. I'm very nervous about this. I have colon cancer in my liver, and it has shrunk considerably since December. I have had no side effects, and I am teaching full time again. My fiance will be starting ZELBORAF for his stage 4 melanoma. Can anyone tell of any of their experiences with this?

I had my first folfox treatment last Friday. I had no appetite for a few days. I am now eating to make up for not eating. Next week I will have round two, and avastin will be added. I'm trying to stay positive. My oncologist has a positive attitude, which is great. I'm just afraid it won't work. I need to keep hearing positive stories!
