Diagnosed with stage 4 esophageal cancer in November 2009. At the time given 10 to 15% chance to see the new year. Took turmeric (curcuma) and was soon able to swallow again. Then had 3 cycles of 21 days chemotherapy and total ablation of esophagus and lymphatic nodes in March. Just given the all clear. One year on enjoyed a nice goose dinner for Christmas and looking forward to lobsters for the new year.
