My husband was diagnosed 7-31-08; one of the very worst days of my life. The last year has been a roller coaster. He was diagnosed with SCC base of tongue, tonsil and tumor on voice box. It had spread to lymph nodes. After 35 radiation treatments, 10 taxol and carbo, 9 dilations of the esophagus, we are almost "back to normal." He is now cancer free and is beginning to swallow after two severe strictures, 60 sessions with a swallow therapist and many many hours of prayer and support. This board in awesome and I am in awe of all of the strong people. God Bless all of you!
