I am hoping to connect with someone who also has this form of cancer as well as others who have/who are receiving Avastin... prognosis seems to be all over the map. This is a reoccuring tumour for me, just started on Avastin in August.

I was diagnosed with grade 3 six years ago at the age of 33. I underwent surgery, 6 weeks of radiation, and 18 months of Temodar. My tumour was dormant until last summer (2011) where I completed another 9 cycles of Temodar that successfully kept it under control. This past June (2012) my MRI results showed that the tumour had grown 5 cm since the last MRI - was getting them every 3 months.... Surger...

I am a 39 yr old female, with a recurring giant cell glioblastoma... trying to decide clinical trial vs Avastin...
