  I would also recommend Dr. Barbara A. Murphy and Dr. Anthony Cmelak (radiation oncologist) at Vanderbilt Ingram Cancer Center in Nashville TN.  They are tremendous and have a great track record with SNUC! http://www.vicc.org/dd/display.php?person=barbara.murphy You can tell both of them that Michele (Phillips) Smithson sent you!  We SNUC survivors are a RARE breed!  :)  Prayers for you all!...

  Oh Lilly... You are so wonderful to give thanks to those who love and care for those who are battling the disease!  When I pray for those who are sick, I also try to remember to pray for those care takers as well as the medical staff.  I want to thank you for the love and care you gave your husband!  God bless you!  Michele

  Lilly, I am so sorry for your loss!  There seems to be so little known about SNUC and that is why I am trying to reach out to find survivors and loved ones of those who did not survive.  I encourge you to search online for Barb Abernathy.  Barb is a tremendous fundraiser for SNUC research.  She lost her daughter Ashley to SNUC and has now founded Ashley Abernathy's Purple Star Foundation!  w...

  Oh my... Your Charles needs to sleep!  He may feel like he's going to miss something or that he's not the same person he was pre-cancer.  Well... he is and he's not.  Sleep is when the body recovers from sickness and trauma and he's had both!  I will pray for you and for Charles...  Michele
