  Had an MRI the 22nd of March, no evidence of recurrence.  Hpwever for about the last week I've been Hunting and pecking my words, plus my immediate short term memory is shot to hell.  A friend of mine who is VERY knowlegable (she has survived GBM nearly 13 years) suggested I eat a lot more red meat.  I'll let you know how it goes.

  I despise taking any medications, period, and I won't unless I absolutely have to . . . believe me, she'll want the Zofram, and going to bed when she takes the Temodar is a very good idea, she can sleep through the worst of it.  What is her dosage?

  Your head hurts from the radiation?  I was on it (proton) six weeks, same as you, and I never had a twinge of pain.  You should make an appointment ASAP with your oncologist and let him/her know what's going on, pronto.  As far as I know radiation is not supposed to be painful at all.

  Shucky, How long have you been on Temodar, and at what dose?  And how long were you on radiation?  In my opinion you need to get down to your NOs office asap.  Better to be safe than sorry.

  Muscle strain is a good bet.  My arms don't ache despite my post retirement activities ( digging up roots, loading a heavy water cooler into our van, etc), but it's possible I may have overdone it . . . in my case that's nothing new.  I'm not on any blood thinners -- I don't even take aspirin -- but I'll see my primary next week, let him know about it and see what he has to say.

  Hi Sarah, I went off the steriods (decadron) back in May, and this problem with my right bicep began as my chemo increased to 400 mg.  Since I haven't been on decadron for nearly ten months I don't think that's the cause.
