Sounds like it could be a normal reaction but it never hurts to call the doc about it and I would advise doing so. This is not a drug to over do it on, believe me. I also had large lesions that oozed which was very disgusting to me.  I know they say if it gets unbearable or too uncomfortable to stop and take a break. Again though, I would advise calling the doc to confirm he is not having a super severe reaction...

As a follow up to my previous entries, I went to the dermatologist (11/8/12) for my check up after using Zyclara. I told her I was only able to do a total of 18 days and planned on starting treatment the end of January for the balance of my 30 days. After checking my upper lip out, she informed me I did not need to continue the treatment!!! Hoorah!!!! I showed her the pictures I had taken of the effects and she infor...

Places on my chin that had minimal scabbing were not noticeable to me as damaged areas. However the upper lip had various places frozen off previously and I had quite a few rough patches that were getting worse, which was the reason I decided to try Zyclara. This was the area that reacted severely. just by looking at it before treatment, no one could tell. I didn't think Zyclara was for the dark aging spots, but...

Meemz, I assume you are referring to my profile pic...THANK GOODNESS it has healed nicely but is still somewhat red. I don't scare kids anymore!!  :)   It is noticeable but make up does cover it nicely.  All the scabs are gone but it did take a full two weeks and even with that, there was probably another week plus before it quit peeling enough that makeup didn't show.   I had also spread it on my...

So I'm curious, I was able to upload a picture for my profile which showed where I was after 18 days usage with a 6 day break after one week. This picture was actually taken after I had stopped using Zyclara for several days. Is this result comparable to what some of you had?  thanks.

For me it was really noticeable on about day 5. It took right at two weeks for the scabs to heal, redness is still there but manageable.

If you are on a 2 week on 2 week off you should be alright in 3 weeks as you only have another week left.  It did take a full 2 weeks for the scabs to be gone and while I had them make up wouldn't work.  Once scabs are gone makeup was easy to use to cover up the slight redness that has been left.

I stopped using after the first 7 days because the pain was unbearable (blisters on the inside of lips).  I waited a week and restarted and went another 11 days and only stopped because the blisters/scaling on upper lip appeared to be bleeding bad.  I will start again the end of January after the holidays and birthdays are over.  I would use it as long as you can stand it as this will he...
