  I completely agree. It took us over 4 months to get my dad diagnosed with Pc. We begged for tests Nd were told he had the flu, an ulcer we were over re-acting etc... Tragically my father told me I think I have cancer.... He knew before the doctors could figure it out. He died exactly 3 months to the date after diagnosis. My father in law also died from cancer this year and same story we fought to get diagnosed and he...

  My dad also has stage 4 Pc and the fentanyl patch has worked pretty well and he also has oxy for breakthrough pain. The pain with Pc is unbelievable so you may want to seek out a pain management doctor like we did. My dad also had a celiac plexus block for the sharp nerve pain. My dad is now in his last days from this horrific disease but we have worked constantly to keep him comfortable. Best wishes and keep fight...

  My dad has Pc and also noticed that he gets hiccups. He even gets them at night while asleep and not while or after eating. When on his pain meds at night he sleeps through them. Wondering why too?

  Thank you so much for sharing with us. Our dad was in great physical condition prior to this. His pain, weight loss, and malaise started around December and continued to worsen. His surgery was on April 10th, so just over 2weeks now. I guess we need to be patient and give him time to recover. He has been walking almost everyday since.
