How do lifestyle factors and exposure to environmental substances affect our cancer risk?
Anyone on here from PA?? I have Stage IV RCC with Mets to lungs. Doctor said I should apply for SS Disability. I talk to my Social Worker but she was not help. Can you still work and collect SS Disability??? I have a mortgage and bills to pay and don't need another stress of how they will get paid if I cannot work at least part time. SS Disability surely would not be enough to live on....
I have Stage IV RCC with Mets to the lungs. Since December of last year I have been taking Afinitor. It is working and now the only side affect I have is my taste buds. I cannot eat any type of sugary/sweet food. Cookies, Cake, Candy, Chocolate, Poptarts, Ice Cream, Gum.......etc etc.....not even an apple. It all taste horrible!!!!!!! At least the burgers and fries still taste good...
Recently diagnosed with Metastatic Kidney Cancer of the Lungs. I tried the IL-2 treatment and no luck. Also tried Votrient but had too many side effects. Now I am waiting to start Afinitor. Have to wait to see if my insurance will cover it.
