  Yes he is still smoking. We are at end stage according to hospice. I am afraid there is no hope. But we were not given any from the start. He was on palliative care from day one. He was given a year last April with chemo. We stopped all chemo in August 2012. He cannot walk so exercise is out of the question. He also drinls only alcohol and a little coffee.  I cannot take any of his vices away. That is all he has...

  My dad is Stage 4 colon cancer mets to the liver. A secondary throat cancer and stage 4 COPD but yet insists he has no pain anywhere. He weighs 95 lbs, smokes all day, cannot stand without falling. Hospice has been called in. No pain?? Seriously?
