  Hi, My fiance, who has a newly-diagnosed urachal tumour, talks about pain similar to what you're describing. She describes it as a tearing sensation when she bends over. On other ocassions, she describes the sensation as "pressure." It also seems to come and go. Rick

  My fiance was recently diagnosed with urachal carcinoma. Her tumor was discovered eventually by CT scan (after nothing showed up via ultrasound) when she was being investigated for severe abdominal/pelvic pain. Her urologist described the tumor as small and "encapsulated;" he described her bladder as "intact." He has treated others with urachal tumors, and plans surgery to remove the urachus and the dome of the bladd...
