Hi WEL2012, May I ask how old your fiancé is and whether she had gross hematuria and also how they diagnosed her tumor? Until I found this message board I had never heard of urachal tumours. I know I am spelling it wrong but when my GP showed me the CT report it mentioned a thickening around the lower left ureter where it joins the bladder. It also mentions (and I know I am spelling this nothing like it should be)...

Hi, Hoping anyone can help. I am waiting on a biopsy of the ureter for something picked up in a CT scan and have general lower back and flank pain etc however yesterday I bent down to pick up the dogs water bowl and had what I can only describe as the sensation of something very large and sharp having been inserted into my bladder. I have never felt anything like it before i had to cling on and almost fell to the ...

I am asking this (probably a stupid question) because I am under investigation for a ureteral growth from the uretera into the bladder and I know it is possible to get a lymphoma of the uretera. My consultant has ordered a urine cytology test and I am also waiting on a biopsy next week. a urine test last wee...

I saw the GP and she is of the opinion that it is a slow growing growth. Also had a chest X-ray which came out negative which is brilliant news. Now have to see the urologist on Tuesday Regards Simon

Hi, I have a question and I am hoping someone can help with the answer. The length of the posting is part of my question. Sorry for the forthcoming saga. I have just had a CT with IVu on my kidneys and am now waiting on a laparoscopy to investigate something they have picked up on my Uretera where it joins my bladder (also sorry if this should be in the Bladder Cancer section). I am male, 44 years old and live in ...
