Hi, my husband is on erubician chemo (spelling may be off there)--just had his fourth treatment.  He has esophogeal cancer (4th stage) but after eight months of treatment the only active metasteses were in the liver, but they were growing.  So, they did radioembolization a month ago.  A week after the treatment, he started having a low fever (under 100.5) most evenings.  In the morning it's genera...

Hey everyone. This will be short as I'm typing it on my iPad. My husband had the SirSpheres treatment and so far so good. A bit of fatigue and a low fever at night, bit he's feeling better than he has in months. The doc says he can feel that his liver is going down. It's the only place he still has evidence of the disease. We just passed eight months with this thing. We did get to see his mother but h...

My husband was diagnosed with Stage 4 EC about three months ago. He started chemo and has tolerated it well.  He recently had a pet scan and all but two of the mets are resolved--and those left are much, much smaller.  The cancer in the esophagus has also resolved.  His doctor is still having him do chemo (but less often) in hopes of getting rid of the last two mets. My question is, if the esophageal ...
