You are going on a roller coaster of emotions and not certain which way is up. It is OK to cry to feel upset and be moody. We can't always expect to have a permanent Happy Face etched on. I was diagnosed in 2009 My son at the time was 16. I did not have family support or anyone to just sit and talk with me. I had my son. During the months of Chemo he was there for me he cleaned me up brought water washe...

i have my port in now going into my 5th year. There have been no issues I have it flushed once a month. It was a little uncomfortable when it was first inserted but that was short term Having chemo was so simplified. I had a PICC line intially but it was too bothersome it would come out, I'd have to have it redone. Go to the emerg or a walkin clinic ASAP and tell them to have a look because it is sore and you have discharge coming from your nipple. The first thing is to remain calm you may only have an infection. Don't think of the worse case scenario
However see a Dr right away for your own peace of mind!!

I doubt very much you have any kind of cancer. It sounds more like an allergy to something you are drinking. Do you drink red wine? It could be the Histamines, Do you drink beer? It could be from the grains that beer is made from
Many 19 year olds have an unrealistic fear of doctors and or having a disease but won't get it checked because of fear. I know I have one this age at my house too.....

Lymphedema may be a possibility. I would suggest you start doing some stretching exercises in order to give your arm and shoulder some mobility. It will be painful but if you don't keep it moving you will run into issues further in your healing. I started stretching immediately. You don't have to tax yourself but the sooner you get moving the sooner your arm will start feeling better.
