  my dad has to decide tomorrow what drug to start. he has already tried sutent and afinitor with poor results. in fact the RCC is spreading faster. it is in his spine, rib, shoulder, lungs massively, lymph nodes, and most recently as of today, found out it is in his brain 20 + mets. please help. i know his doctor will recommend drugs but i would like to hear from someone who has actually taken the drug.

  Just found out today that he will not be able to participate in the research trial because his MRI showed 20 + metastasis in his brain. HUGE devastation. Was not expecting that. WE are all so heart broken but my dad is going to continue to fight and try one of the drugs that has been approved. He has already tried sutent and afinitor.   Hang in there I know how you feel. my dad too has end stage renal cancer and it has spread everywhere. Lungs, bones, lymph nodes and none of the drugs are working to slow it down. Im hoping this new doctor will have a different insight and a better treatment.

  Hi, My name is Ashley and my dad has end stage renal cancer. 5 years ago he had a malignant tumor on his right kidney. They removed the tumor and his kidney. Up until 6 months ago he was totally fine. Then he started to have really bad back pain.
