18 months ago I had whipple done and a soft ball size tumor was removed from the head of the pancreas. It was precancerous and the dr. said surrounding areas looked good. I did not have to do any chemo or rad. He said my primary care physician would be in charge after my 8 week check up. I have not had any scans done since the whipple.
