My surgery went well. They removed what they could. They gave me an anti-anxiety medication and then wheeled me into the operating room, which helped. I am now home recovering and will be returning to see my Drs. in two weeks to find out the biopsy results and next steps.

I don't no what they gave me before I walked in there. I was prepped and had an IV put in. I don't remember how I was able to do this, but I did it. I have my surgery tomorrow at 11am and I'm going to make sure this does not happen again.

I went to one of the best hospitals for brain cancer in New York. It's Presbyterian Hospital. I have now talked to others who told me they have experienced the same thing.

The last time I had surgery they had me walk into the surgery room and lay on the surgery table. This made the experience much more scary. Have any of you had this experience before ? Is this a normal procedure ?
