Just a quick note hoping you are still doing well. I have had stage 4 breast cancer with mets to bones, liver and lungs for over a year. I have been on Xeloda for the past year and scans come back stable. Stable is almost the best word in the English language. Your 12 years with mets is sure encouraging....keep up. Thanks for your time to give all of us strength to keep living as best we can because life is goo...

Me too! I'm stage 4 breast cancer with mets to bones, liver and lungs. I am also on Xeloda since last January. If it wasn't for the bone involvement I wouldn't think I have stage 4 cancer. I have no plans of cashing out anytime soon. Of course I have a great support network and many people offering prayers for me. I just want to say it is a fight living with this crappy disease hanging over our heads but pr...

Wow! You have that right....I'd rather drink my coffee. Going for my quarterly CAT scans Jan 3. It will be almost 1 year since mets to liver and lungs were found. The mets to bones were Dx'ed from sept . 2011. Actually I feel better now than I did 1 1/2 years ago. Sure hope I get a least stable results although some shrinkage of liver and lung mets would certainly be welcome. My Dr's have been very good to e al...

Thanks for your encouraging words. It is so good to hear from others that are doing the same fight and beating the odds. I am still able to travel by myself so I take off for as much time as I can. My doctor plans ny treatments around my travel plans. I give thanks toGod every morning for allowing me another day and still no expiry date. I think the best before date came awhile ago but life is oh so good. Take...

Hi I am also stage 4 breast cancer gal and after stage 4 dx 14 months ago I am still on the green side of the grass. In 2004 I had bilateral mastectomies with many lymph nodes removed. In May of 2011 had back pains and after being treated for possible disk problem I had an MRI which showed mets to bones especi...

Hi Debbie I hope all is well with you. I am still doing ok on Xeloda. The mets to my liver have shrunk a little and the rest are stable so far. I am still able to do most things like drive and travel so life is good. I must say I do miss some of the things I can no longer do but am so grateful for each day I get. God has been so good to me. Keep your head held high and enjoy what time we have on earth, Joan...

Hi! I got my scan results today. I am flying so high I need big steel blocks to keep me grounded. There is no further spread of the cancer and the liver mets have shrunk. With good news I will continue the Xeloda sessions and monthly Pamitrogen infusions. If it comes to a point where the cancer is growing or spreading I will be like you and try alternative medicine. I love life and plan to hang on to it as long ...

Can you help me? You mentioned CSCI in your reply to me. I don't know what that means. Some of our treatments have different names or results are calibrated differently. I have shrunk 3" in the past year or so my back is in pretty bad shape. It's the only place I have much pain. I feel like my spine is bubble pack and someone keeps bursting my bubbles. I didn't know any better so had bilateral mastectomies ...

Thank you. I also have Stage 4 Breast cancer with mets to bones, lungs and liver. My Rx came last September for the bone mets liver and lungs in January this year. I had gamma nail implants to both femurs as the bone is so fragile. I am on Xeloda (2 week on 1 week off) and Pamitrogen infusions monthly. I have constant back pain but it is controlled with Morphine 10 m. Twice a day. I am able to enjoy life and ...
