  Hey again guys, been awhile but ive been going through a really devastating time...on top of what my poor husband is going through,our son passed away suddenly in his sleep  at 33yrs.old, he lived w/us....my poor hubby took it so bad because he felt so helpless, but i assured him i would take care of everything, as i did, and now we were told that w/o insurance, they could not supply anymore TPN bags of nutritio...

  Hi everyone,..I was wondering who has had one of these and are they as helpful as they say, nutrition-wise? They decided to put one in my husband this morning because he still is not eating and getting weaker, low platelets,low salt...nose bleeds, I do hope this DOES the trick and gives him his strength back that he needs to fight. .....Thanks.

  Yes its me again guys,..I am so worried, my jim is still in hospital (went in dehydrated) and now he wont even get out of the bed! Says he gets too nauseous when he stands...I just spoke to nurse and they are suppose to get him a physical theripast today and ordered him a walker on wheels...but it seems to me as if he is giving up somewhat, I dont know what to do, he chases me away when I go up, he dont want me to se...

  Thanks Kevbo.. havent spoken to this guy since,...I pray every chance i get, he is still in hospital, trying to eat and keep as much down as poss., had to stop his last couple of radiation treatments cuz it burnt up his esophagus so bad,(very raw), alot of pain...alot of spitting up...to the point where he asks me to leave and go home...hurts me to leave! Its only us and our dogs, they to miss him so much...I cry and...

  Is this common? My husband is still in the hospital from being dehydrated (9 days)...thought he was coming home today, but doc said his blood count is low and they want to get it up before they can release him,he only has 3 more radiations to go.. yet he is still SO nauseous...(poor guy)...Cant get rid of it!..nothing seems to help, a little farina and Jello is all that stays down so far, please tell me the radiation...

  Hi again guys...can anyone tell me if they had one of these and is it worth getting? my husband is undecided, he is still in hospital from dehydration and nausea but cant wait to get home.... doc wants to monitor what he eats today and see if he keeps it down,and will see him again tomorrow about the tube, he is finished w/ the chemo for now, but is still so nauseous, I think he should get the tube to keep him nouris...
