How do lifestyle factors and exposure to environmental substances affect our cancer risk?
This has been nice to hear about, thanks for submitting your personal story. I have been doing pretty good lately too, I have luekemia and went through a 6 month program of chemo treatments. It has been 6 months ago since the last treatment, and I have 98/% remission. So, there is hope in these treatments, who knows: maybe a new therapy will come along and make a cure possible. I am willing to...
Yes, I am lucky to have had many people praying for me. I know it has helped immensly. The therapies have all been discussed with a real oncologist before any trial, that is a good suggestion you made. I enjoyed hearing about some that are new to me, that gives me more to ask about. Who knows, maybe there will be some progress made in B-cell lymphatic luekemia through alternative treatments. &...
Thanks for writing this educated perspective, I will look into the suggested alternative treatments. this comes across as very encouraging, I am always hoping for some breakthroughs, before it is too late.
I get cramps in my legs frequently, it really hurts some times. This is real hard to stop, I have to roll out of bed at times and stretch my feet in the opposite direction to get the pain to stop, very inconvenient. Not sure what this is from, but your message makes me think it could be related to CLL. I asked about the drugs I take, but there is not supposed to be any side effects from the therapy ...
Good luck with the treatments, my friend had several rounds of radiation treatment for breast cancer. She is keeping a good attitude and full of faith, that makes things better for herself as well as those around her. Hard to imagine that a person in such a tough spot can still laugh and be nice. She has set the example for me to follow as I also have this journey to endure (luekemia). So far,...
I took chemo for 6 months on a 3 day/month injection (full days); it did reduce my lymphnodes in 98% of the problem areas. My immune system was compromised so much that I picked up a rare antigen that took 9 months to discover and start treatment. I was in the hospital 4 times and could not get an answer to what was wrong with me, until my oncologist located the antigen. I am on a 4 month program to...
I have been going along ok so far, stage 4 is what I have been told. Some bumps in the back of my neck have been appearing and not going away. Most of the time I am able to get through days without too much trouble, still scared though
