Hi there, All I can say is WOW, your brothers healing is amazing! I am (and will say proudly) is very excited for you guys. That is a blessing on its own. For your brother to have that tumor shrunk enough for the surgery is a huge advantage on his side. Please don't take this offensively, but you must remain very optimistic about this surgery because he's done so well as most don't! My husband had some major setback...

Hi and thank you for sharing your thoughts. I did mention CTCA just began offering this procedure in July. I know its an old procedure also. But I am truly thankful that my husband had the opportunity to do this as I understand some have not been as fortunate. I am very happy for this new awareness and understanding. Wishing you a wonderful weekend! :o)

Hi everyone, Today, I'm here to share the new big thing that we've been so enthusiastic about. But before I do, I'd like to remind myself and the rest of you again of my purpose with creating this blog. The purpose has (and always will be) to keep family and friends informed of what's happening with Luis's treatments- and how we're dealing with it. I am not here to change anyone's way of thinking- nor t...

Dr. Vashi suggested for us to replace the J tube because Luis might still need it during and after chemo. But even those times he really didn't use it. There's actually several boxes of Peptamen cans at our home just sitting there. He's been eating by mouth for a long time now- (and keeping food down too). When I get a chance, I'm going to donate those cans to the treatment center.  As soon as Dr. Sanchez (his...

My apologies for the delay but I didn't know I had a reply. Yes, he takes some medication right after chemo for about a few days.

My journey with cancer started in Dec of 2008 when Luis got diagnosed with (a so called) incurable, inoperable Pancreatic cancer. At the time, he was given 6 months to a year to live. Since then, he's done, 2 surgeries, radiation & chemo in 2009, exploring with the Gerson therapy- and finally returning back to Cancer Treatment Centers of America in 2010. we've over come much and feel very blessed.

Part of his cancer care and healing is @ Cancer Treatment Centers of America. And the rest is within him.

I love to inspire and be inspired. So lets connect and share our journey while helping each other stay in a positive state of MIND.
