  Not nosey at all. I am glad to pass on anything that i have to offer. I have had reoccurences since the cyberknife procedure that i went through in '09 ( i was diagnosed in 05).   i had cyberknife several years ago for colorectal cancer that spread to my liver. my side effects were nausea and some pain in that are  . i hope it helps.

  I have had stage 4 colo-rectal cancer since 2005. This year I have had 2 chemo-embolizations in my liver but they did not get the lesions outside of my liver ( lungs, peritineal wall). I have given all of the conventional chemo drugs withradiation (cyberknife) I know I should be happy with the time that I have been given but I want more to be with my five kids ( youngest are 10). Any thoughts? experiences?

  I am a stage 4 survivor since 2005. I have had several reoccurences and can relate to your husbands issues. I would ask that you talk to your dr about a drug LEVSIn. It stopped my "leaking". Unfortunately the other side effects are going to take time. Regarding the rash try CALMOSEPTINE. It is a cream and is sold in some drug stores. Has your husband restricted his diet ? namely limiting fruits and veggies....

  Did u contact Dr. John Marks @ Lankenau hospital in wynnwood pa. ( wynne wood Pa is a few hundred yards over the city line of philadelphia). I would recommend it. It i snot easy to get an appointment but if you have your dr do it it may be better. Also ask if DR marks has trained anyone in your area as Lankenau is a teaching hospital Good luck and god bless

  I had it done in may of this year. I have had colo-rectal cancer - stage 4 since 2005. Chemo-embolization is the process where the radiation oncologist "snakes" a tube through the femural artery directly into the artery that is feeding the tumor. Through that tube chemo drugs are injected directly into the tumor. I go back in a few weeks for my 3 month visit but my tests in early June indicated things went very wel...

  Have u gotten a 2nd opinion?  There are many surgereons that can save you from a permanent colostomy. I had one done in philadelphia Dr. John Marks = lankenau hospital. Good luck and God bless.
