The drs need to do a test on a sample of the tumor. That will show them if it was methylated or non-methylated. It's my understanding that if it was methylated, the person responds better to Temodar. My husband's tumor was non-methylated, and the Temodar only worked for a short while, then stopped. He's on Avastin and having good results.
