My mom has never been on Avastin, only Temodar. Depending on the dose. At the beginning, after surgery ( may 2011) the dose was 340. Now, because she lost weight the dose is 240. When the dose of Temodar was 340 she had nausea and was drowsily all the day. At 240 dose of Temodar she was only drowsily.

Are you taking Avastin and Temodar at the same time? The tumor disappeared or it is still there. Or it is not growing since you started Avastin? I never heard about novocure, I'll ask our oncologist about it. My mom has a half-paresis on her right arm and she can't talk. She says only some words, but in rest she has activity and is conscious. I wish you health and don't give up!

Hello,
My mother was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme with Oligodendro on April 2011. All tumor was surgically debulked on May 2011. The tumor had 3/2/1 cm. After surgery she started with the standard of treatment Radiation and Temadar (temozolomide)one month, then the Temadar alone 5 days a month for six months. She finished the treatment on March 2012. Since then no treatment was given to her.
