Hi, I'm sorry to hear that you are going through such a bad time. I was diagnosed at 50 years old and your husband's situation was similar to mine. I was very active, working as a registered nurse, exercised and led a clean life. I became sick with jaundice, dark colored stools, light stool and itching all the classic signs of pancreas cancer but never in a million years event thought about that.  My doctor in...

Your husband's case sounds very similar to mine. Before I was diagnosed I was sick with flu like symptoms for over a month. Soon after I started to have constant diahrea with everything I ate. My GI doctor ordered and endoscopy and colonoscopy and nothing showed blood work was also good. About 2 weeks later I became jaundiced, itched, had dark urind and clay colored stools. Blood work showed all levels high and they...

I am sorry that your family is effected by this disease. Reading this brings back memories of my situation. I was 50 years old like your mom and my daughter was your age. I was diagnosed 3 months before my daughter's wedding and this took us all by surprise. I had to write to you because if my daughter was writing this post she would be saying the same thing since her and I are so close. Just had my 3 year celebrati...

Had follow up chemo for 6 months in basking ridge and was not happy there with the oncologists. I am presently doing all follow up in NYC and am very happy with my new doctor
