      I can't say where the best place is for staging and treatment, as I was lucky enough to end up with a tumor that was benign. But I did undergo the Whipple procedure at IU Methodist hospital in Indianapolis, and the team there was outstanding.

        Thank you for the reply! I'm really hoping for scar tissue, I just need to figure out how to get it under control, because the pain is SO frustrating when I eat - no matter the amount. The only meds I'm currently on are Protonix 1x day, and Creon with meals. And I'm pretty confident in my doc, he seems like a keeper! I've got an appointment with him on Tuesday morning.
