It is a dairy free fiber drink made from oats. I put it in the blender with crushed ice and add a bit of chocolate and its really good. Since I don't eat raw veg and don't digest fiber foods very well, I tried that and it really helps keep my bowels moving without having to take meds for it. I sometimes add a scoop of soy protien powder since I can't eat much meat.

I had a lot of pain for a long time. I finally had a hystoryectomy. I had terrible endometriosis.  2 years later I had a twist in the bowel and they did surgery to remove a portion of it and found the cancer. I couldn't understand how that was possible if I had a hystoryectomy. They say it may have been a rogue cell that traveled outside the womb with the endometriosis. Don't let that scare you as that doesn't m...

I'll take that on. I'll have to check to see where I can get the vitamin B6 B1 and B12 in the strips. Thanks for posting.

I took the advice. Eating small amounts every so often has really helped. No raw veg. I cut out the dairy as it takes longer to empty in the stomach. I am more liquid now than solid foods, but I drink an oat drink and add some protien. I do much better now. Thanks for taking the time to post. God Bless you and I pray for your comfort.

That's fantastic Lynne. You're right. They really don't know. I'll be praying for you. Being happy and living for the moment is my motto. Each day I tell myself that maybe someday the cancer will get me "but not today".

Actually I have had all the treatment that can be given. My oncologist says any treatment would cause more discomfort than any good it would do. So we are at that point of comfort meds. I only take a med for acid at this point. We are trying to find a pain med that works, but doesn't send me into space as most of them do. I never did well with pain medicine. They just don't agree with me. One of the things I do each ...

Yes, this does seem to be exactly the same for me. The only thing they are doing is giving me meds for the acid that backs up into the stomach due to some blockage. I do eat much smaller amounts as well. There goes my morning coffee. I feel I will end up on a diet of soup and water. I wish you all the best and hope your symtoms do not get any worse. Thank you for the advice.

I have had chemo treatments three times in the last 8 years. I do not get any treatment now as I am terminal. Its all about being comfortable now.  I've just returned from a meeting with a pain management team. It seems the area where the stomach emptys into the intestines is becoming a bit blocked and this is causing some of the gases to back up. I've been given some medication for this and, yes I agree, lookin...

I have been dealing with ovarian cancer for 7 years now. I have started having a lot of stomach and digestive problems. We are trying to do some pain management, however, anything that takes the discomfort away makes me very sick and out of it. Anything else just doesn't work. Eating very small amounts does help a little. Does anyone who may be dealing with the same thing have any suggestions?
