I just received this information from another site that I get emails from.( I search day and night for somehting to help my husband. We are in our 6th round of tem. and the last MRI showed re-growth in the tumor bed and 2 other tumors outside the bed.)
TRAIL helps the immune system suppress tumor development. Because protein is part of the immune system, it is not toxic to the body like Chemo. or Rad.
The res...

Dear Judy,
You are at the point, with this horrible monster, that all of us here dread. May the Lord lift the pain from your family and give you peace. My husbands tumors (now 3) are progressing on temador. He was Dx in April 2012. I do know the heartache that you are feeling.
Peace to you and yours,
Jackie

A new one at the Brain Center University Hospital Cincinnati ohio. The tumor board will meet this Wed. and we will go from there. There was re-growth after being on the temodar.
The trial is specifically for glio re-growth. We will meet with the neuro-oncologist after that.

I have been thinking about you and your husband for weeks.
I tried to call and could not get through. Have been praying.
I am so sorry that the recent treatment did not work. This monster is horrible. There will be a trial open at UC soon, will he qualify for that? Thats what we are waiting for. Mike is doing okay. That last MRI gave alot of confusion, maybe growth, maybe necrosis, maybe psedo growth. Back o...

Hi, My husband was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiform IV in April of this month. Normally after surgery they do lab tests to figure out what type. Glios as said before can re-grow in the brain or can also move to the spine, but cannot move to other parts of the body. There are other types of tumors that grow in the brain but that is not the primary source of the cancer. I do not know how long you have been in this...

Hi all,
My friend found this and I am passing this to all . We are still in our struggle (Glio IV. )Two researchers at the CPMC, have been studying the effects of a derivitive from cannibus. Cannabidiol has been use to treat nausea etc. for years. They have found it ( in higher doses) to stop the spread of cancer cells particurally in breast and brain cancer. Their study was released in 2007 and and ...
