  My mom was diagnosed with advanced liver cancer which started from her gall bladder. This was only found in late August 2009 and already in Stage 4. She started chemo immediately. Her doctors were not favored to remove her gall bladder which according to them there wasn't the need to remove since it is no longer functioning (???).
