  Looking forward to starting actually...have a few in my lungs also but  they are shrinking...having a great attitude so far and plan on keeping it...I need positive thoughts and think it's gonna be great! In "kidney cancer" chats also...

  They haven't said, they seem like it's fine if it's not growing or changing. I am in favor of doing anything to get this over this, more tha a year is a bit overwhelming

  I was diagnosed with kidney cancer October of 2011. My kidney was removed in November ans started Sutent in December. After some bad side effects have been on Afintor for almost a year. So far,so good.Had 3 good CAT scans as well as many good bloodwork reports. I just have no energy, does anyone know a food or something that can help? I get so  down when I can't do anything.

  Mouth sores have been my only side effect, steriods to get rid of them

  You are so right Jerry. I have seen biowater in two posts so far and also a certain breathing exercise that has gotten rid of the cancer in the lungs so I'm gonna start that. The breathing is in this earlier thread, check it out

  As soon as my kidney was removed in November we started on Sutent in December. It worked for a few months then stopped. Now on Afinitor, will see if it is working on Tuesday. Who knows why docctor's prescribe what they do? Ask questions, I think some feel like they know your body better than you. I am super optimistic and know something is gonna work and stop this. The love for your dad helps more than you know..kee...

  Sorry about that, been tired alot and resting is doing me good I think, tend to push myself. I had a CT Scan yesterday but will not find out results until Tuesday. I have only had 1 side effect on Afinitor which ws bad mouth sores. I was on 10 mg but was cut down by my previous doctor to 5 mg and given steroids for 2 weeks and they went away. I have worked my way back up to 10 mg and only have 1 mouth sore that I ca...

  That is a moving story. Mine is also in my lungs and Liver. Will try the breathing, it's a smart way to appraoch things

  They haven't said. Had my 4th CT Scan yesterday and will find out results Tuesday. Waiting is the worst and being tired from simply walking is something that freaks me out but it's all part of something bigger than me. We will overcome this if that is HIS will!
