I finally had my Biopsy, (small cervical node removed from the neck) and then had to wait one month for the results, the suspense was terrible! I finally got my results and was shown the report.   Hi, I went for another ultrasound on the 25th of January. They confirmed evidence of trauma to my parotid gland, (maybe due to a recent ear infection) and said that my thyroid appeared to be a different shape since the scan one month ago. I was given Amoxcicillin for the ear, the infection appeared to clear but glands are the same if not more swollen. Am I right that Penicillin can cause this? Over the past t...

  Hi, thank you so much for your reply,  I'm so pleased to hear your husband is doing well. I will request a needle biposy of a neck gland on the 25th. I forgot to mention that I had a little alchohol over Christmas, (previously haven't drunk at all) and immediately had pain in the glands!
