    Thank you for your reply.  I am only seeing it now.  Unfortunately the cancer came back and my father lost his battle two weeks ago.  This is a brutal disease.

      My4sons, I know exactly what you are talking about.  Unfortunately, he is not getting better.  The fluid build up is not a good sign.  My dad went through the same thing.  Unfortunately he lost his battle just two weeks ago.  It is a brutal disease and it is a shame we don't know enough about it.  Hold on to the good stuff, not the bad.

        My father had stage 2 pancreatic.  Thankfully Whipple got the thing and it had not spread.  However, they had him chemo and then radiation as a preventative measure.  He got through the chemo all right.  The radiation was another story.  Eventhough he did well for 2 1/2 weeks, by the third week it had taken its toll.  By week four, he was fit to be tied.           Last July my father was diagnosed with stage 2 pancreatic cancer.  It was a 2cm tumor on the head of his pancreas. My father was the most physically fit person I know.  He was able to handle Whipple Surgery and came out of it allright, except for an infection which extended the healing time for his wound.  He began a round of chemo in October as a preventative messure and that continued along until Ma...
