My mother is 59 and has had ovarian cancer two times now and was just diagnosed again yesterday. The previous times she had kymo and Radiation. She has been "cancer free" for three years now. This time is has moved to her lung and liver with a handful of spots her doctor says. Do people beat this when it goes to the major organs? I want to believe there is hope and try to find the best doctors or facilities to take her to. She live in a smaller town and has been to Mayo Clinic, Is there anywhere or anything else anyone can help me with? The doctor says she thinks she can maintain it with a monthly kymo treatment, but I am afraid it will not be enough. Help please.
